Please call the office at 512-267-2895 to confirm if an address is part of the POA and eligible for membership and use of the amenities.

Can I buy a POA membership?

There are neither associate memberships nor daily passes available for purchase.

Building and Permitting Questions

What are the building restrictions for the POA?

LVPOA does not regulate architectural or building requirements on personal property. Contact the City of Lago Vista.

I'm building a fence/adding solar panels/building a pool. Do I need permission from the POA?

No. Contact the City of Lago Vista for all building permits and restrictions.

Access Questions

Where can I find information on the POA amenities?

Check out the Amenities page for information on the available amenities.

I closed on my house/lot! Should I come to get everything for access to the parks today?

New owners should wait at least 7-10 business days before attempting to acquire vehicle stickers and access cards for amenity access. This is generally the amount of time it takes for title companies to mail all necessary items to the POA for title transfer.

How do I find out if the property has been transferred into my name?

You may call the office at 512-267-2895 to find out the status of your title transfer.

How do I get access to the parks?

Access to the parks is limited to LVPOA members and can only be granted after your title has been transferred. Once that has occurred, you may request your Access Cards and Vehicle Stickers by registering for an account at our website and using the online form.

Why do I need a vehicle sticker?

Vehicle Stickers are proof of membership and entitlement to access LVPOA property. Vehicles without stickers are subject to being ticketed or towed. Vehicle stickers or guest vehicle passes are required on all vehicles entering LVPOA Parks. There is no limit on vehicle stickers as long as proof of ownership is provided.

I need a vehicle sticker for my mom/dad/cousin/brother/child, etc…

Stickers are only issued for deeded owners' vehicles. Proof of vehicle ownership is required in the form of registration papers or insurance to acquire a sticker. Guest vehicle passes are available for visitors. You may either submit a Vehicle Guest Pass request through the Member's Portal or come by the office with a photo ID to obtain one. Each property owner is Limited to TWO passes, and one-week duration at a time.

Cody Park Improvement Project 2026

Introduction

Investing in our park, together

Cody Park has always been a gathering place for our community — a space for families, neighbors, and friends to connect, play, and enjoy the outdoors and lake. The LVPOA Parks Committee is committed to thoughtfully growing and improving this space so it can serve our community for generations to come. We're excited to share what's in store.

Current Project: Post & Cable Installation

Defining the heart of the park

We will be installing a post and cable perimeter around the main grassy area of Cody Park. This simple, attractive boundary will help designate the central lawn as a dedicated space for foot traffic, casual play, and recreation — free from vehicle encroachment. This mirrors the approach already in place at our Bar K Park soccer field area, which has been a staple of that park. The result will be a more inviting, park-like atmosphere that provides a green space for gathering and playing.

Future Improvement: Walking/Cart Path

A defined path for walking and/or cart travel

Opposite the main road, we have outlined a future walking/cart path that will give residents a safe, enjoyable route to stroll, jog, or simply take a non-vehicle path to the boat ramp. This planned pathway is designed to expand the recreational footprint of Cody Park and make it even more accessible for people of all ages and abilities. More details will be shared as this project moves forward.

Board-Approved Study: Restrooms & Playground Expansion

Exploring what's next for Cody Park

The LVPOA Board has approved a feasibility study to explore two exciting potential improvements: the addition of restroom facilities and the expansion of the playground area. A feasibility study is an important first step — it helps us understand the costs, logistics, and best options before committing to a plan. We want to get this right, and obtaining professional input is important. Once this study has been presented, we will have the ability to begin a full development plan of any future expansion.

Thank you for being part of this
